Vi jobbar tillsammans med en förening, eller NGO, i Nepal som heter Family Children Home Nepal. Den har en egen styrelse och tillsammans driver vi familjehemmet i Nepal. Ordföranden heter Bobby Adhikari och har lång erfarenhet inom arbete med barnhem och med barn i Nepal. Föräldraparet i familjehemmet, Delindra och Sunita, har hand om den dagliga driften av familjehemmet och vi har också ett kontor i byn Belauri där vi startade 2013, då detta är ett krav från myndigheterna. - We are working with an NGO in Nepal called Family Children Home Nepal. We started it through our local contact in Nepal, Bobby Adhikari, who is now the chairman. He has extensive experience with related matters in Nepal. The NGO has its own board and is registered in Nepal. The couple, Delindra and Sunita, run the familyhome in Dhangadi and take care of the daily matters of the home.

Vi har inga anställda och vi har väldigt små utgifter vilket betyder att nästan 100% av alla donationer går direkt till familjehemmet eller det specifika ändamål som du har valt. De administrativa avgifterna utgör cirka 3-4% och består av kostnader för hemsida, utskick och bankavgifter. We don't have any employees and our expenses are very small. About 95-98% of all donations go straight to the family home, i.e. the children. Our administrative costs run about 2% and include website expenses, handouts and flyers as well as bank fees.

Vi har kontakt med med husföräldrarna på familjehemmet flera gånger i veckan och får även rapporter från ordförande i styrelsen, Bobby Adhikari. Detta inkluderar ekonomiska rapporter och registringsbevis från myndigheterna. Vi får ganska ofta uppdateringar med bilder på barn och familjehem, men också hälsorapporter och skolbetyg. Vi har även direktkontakt med skolans rektor vid behov. Vi reser också till Nepal, ungefär vartannat år, för att inspektera och träffa familjehemmet, barnen och personalen på plats samt utforska möjligheter för nya familjehem vid behov. - We are in weekly contact with the houseparents at the family home in Dhangadi through Facebook and email, which allows for immediate communication, picture updates and much more. We recieve regular family home reports and updates from Bobby Adhikari, the chariman of the board in Nepal, in regards to financial records and all things pertaining to the Family home. We also travel to Nepal, about once every other year, to check on the family home and explore new possibilities for future family homes.
